The word khurjeen means saddlebag in dari/farsi,the rugs are woven by Turkmen and hazara tribes in central and northern provinces of Afghanistan. The designs are taken from saddle bags mixing contemporary and traditional designs together.they are woven to a very high standard with only the very best wool yarns . sizes available, runners 6ft 10ft plus, oblong rugs 5x3,6x4 ,8x5, 10x7 plus.
